How is Evolved Strength different from a regular gym or personal trainer?

We’re not here to keep you busy - we’re here to get you results.
Most gyms want you to come often. We want you to come just once or twice a week, for 15-minutes, and see results. Our method is backed by exercise science and delivered 1-on-1 by expert trainers, so every minute counts.

Another big difference? Because of our uniquely efficient protocol, the cost of our strength training sessions are a fraction of the cost of traditional personal training. 

What kind of results can I expect?

Every client is different, but most report:

Do I really only need to train once or twice a week?

Yes and the research backs it up!
Your body gets stronger when you recover, not when you overtrain. Our high-intensity, low-frequency approach gives you maximum stimulus in each workout, then the recovery time needed to build muscle, strength, and resilience.

Is it really safe to lift heavy weights? 

Yes, lifting heavy weights is both safe and highly effective when done correctly. We use medical-grade MedX and Nautilus equipment designed to support your body’s natural range of motion, minimizing risk and maximizing results. Our trainers are experienced professionals with certifications and ongoing education in high-intensity strength training methods. You’ll always train 1-on-1 with a knowledgeable coach who understands your goals, your body, and your progress.

Is this program suitable for beginners / older adults / people with injuries?

Our weight training protocol is a safe and efficient form of exercise, making it a great option for anyone recovering from injuries, illnesses, or long periods without exercise.  We work with individuals who are concerned about osteoporosis, injury prevention, PCOS, blood sugar regulation, insulin resistance, heart conditions, pre and post cancer treatment, falling, menopause, peri-menopause, hip replacement, knee replacement, pre and post surgery, etc. We start with where you are, and work from there. This workout is tailored to you and your needs.

What if I don't have access to a studio? 

No problem! Even if you don't have access to our Kensington or Willow Park Village location in Calgary, Canada, you can still train with one of our expert trainers virtually. We have been coaching virtual sessions since 2020, and it has been a game changer for our clients who travel frequently, snowbird, or move out of town.
